be the difference

Why partner?

Our future vision with this program is to change our community one drum at a time through performance and playing drums. Teaching our kids life skills while having fun is not an easy task, and providing our kids with eye-opening opportunities takes a team effort. Maintaining equipment, uniforms, traveling, food consumption, etc. The more shows & performances, the more your business is connecting to an audience. We are looking for companies that want to make a difference in the community. Together, we can build a better tomorrow.

Our drumline is always looking for ways to work with the community to build a better tomorrow. Our percussion instructor and founder of the South Side STEEL drumline hosts private marching percussion lessons for kids of all ages and schools, which can be a demanding challenge on both the teacher’s end and, in some cases, the parent’s behalf for various reasons. Help us bridge the gap to allow more kids to grow as musicians and in life!

FAQs

  • We are looking for clothing store and or brands to sponsor our uniforms including but not limited to pants, shirts, jackets, headbands, shoes and or boots. Our kids are often big eaters especially over the summer when school is not in session we are looking for any food catering to help our practices over summer, fall, winter, and spring breaks. Whether it’s a transportation company or aiding with transportation our kids would love to travel to participate in competitions from as close to home such as St. Louis or Chicago or as far away as North Carolina. These competitions help our kids be noticed by more colleges allowing more opportunities for postsecondary education.

  • Our percussion instructor, Terrell Ford, envisions kids in Peoria, IL, learning to play marching percussion. This requires drum sticks, pads, percussion straps, and more. Terrell wants to partner and sponsor with business, companies, and brands that want to make a change in the community.
